Ever wonder how did the magician did that? Ever wanted to learn the basics of magic? Want to see magic in everything that is around us? This fun class is all about exploring the magic of science and the science behind the magic. Students will build skills in scientific thinking thru different projects and experiments each week. This will be chance to explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) as they learn and demonstrate the wonders in the world around us. This class does align with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for elementary students. The class covers many topics from Biology, Aerodynamics, Electricity, Building Design, the Scientific Method, the Design Process, and many more. If you have a curious student and want them to learn to love STEM, this is the class for them!
Students of all abilities in math and science will have fun, working in small groups with other students. We want to inspire students to love math and science and to see where it is in the real world and in their own lives. Fun and positive experiences are the keys in this class!
